An unexpected treat!

Keith took me to work this morning  and I had a very pleasant shift working with Sue until 2pm, when she left. We were quite busy and the time passed agreeably quickly! Half way through my working day we were amazed to see a big fox nosing around in the grassed area behind our office!

Not the best of photos!

Sophie went to the gym in the afternoon and picked me up from work on her way back. By now it had started to rain and the earlier blue skies and sunshine had given way to a heavy downfall and much colder temperatures. It was only 4c on the way home!

Keith had gone to see Sileby play in Thrapston so we settled down in front of the television to watch the last half hour of 90 Day Fiance until he came home. Mike was also out and we thought he was going to a party but after calling him to see if he was coming home for dinner, he said he would be back in time. This gave us a bit of a dilemma as we'd decided not to cook the chicken en croute we had planned and we were going to go to the van in the village instead. Keith said to go anyway so our Saturday evening turned out to be rather an expensive night!

We ordered the takeaway and went to the pub while it cooked and had a couple of drinks. The pub was decked out in Halloween decorations and it was lovely and cosy with the curtains drawn. We sat at the bar and chatted to Ian and then went to get our food and headed home in the drizzle. Mike was already there so we tucked into our meals and then relaxed for the rest of the evening. It was great to know I was now finished work for a week!
