A lunchtime treat!

Sophie didn't go into uni today as her last lecture of the day had been cancelled and she said it wasn't worth going in for just an hour and a half. She went off for a walk with Keith while I stayed at home and did housework. It's been a bitterly cold day today with clear blue skies and sunshine and they both looked very cold when they arrived home!

At lunchtime Sophie and I went to Market Harborough and had lunch at Pizza Express again. We chose the dough balls with the dips, a large pizza to share and some delicious little potato balls which were lovely with the pesto.

It's always cold and windy in Market Harborough and today was no exception! It was freezing! We walked about the town and Sophie bought some snow boots for New York in the Mountain Warehouse. We're hoping she'll take them to Berlin as well as it'll be great if we have snow there!

I treated us all to some cakes and we returned home for a cup of tea in the conservatory. The sky looked very ominous and it has been snowing further north but we didn't get any of the white stuff. Mike went out to a friend's house in the evening and Keith went off to the pub so a very relaxing night ensued!
