A quick walk

Work was a little quieter today but it's half term next week so no doubt we'll be busy again! I really can't believe that the children are on holiday next week - it only seems like two minutes since it was the Christmas break!

I managed to persuade Keith to come out for a walk with me when I got home from work and we walked around the estate and then down to the bus stop in the village before turning back around again. It was very cold and the wind was still strong so we both had rosy faces when we got home! Despite the wind, today has been sunny and dry but we have another storm brewing on the horizon - this time it's Storm Dennis!

Keith went to see Sileby play this evening so Sophie and I cooked dinner - veggie escalopes with a traybake of different vegetables. Not quite Jerk Chicken Pasta but it had to do! Keith came home at 10pm and said that Sileby had been leading most of the way through the match but had ultimately lost 3-2. Never mind!
