We had a lazy start to the day and when I got up Keith had washed up all the glasses, bless him! We took Sophie to the gym first thing and popped to Tesco to get another dessert to take around to my Mum and Dad's house at lunchtime. Mike wasn't home so we called him but he said he would make his own way back...
In Tesco Keith and I bought a Gu pudding and the papers and headed back to the gym to wait for Sophie. She came out all sweaty but had worked hard! We drove home to have a quick breakfast and then discovered that Mike was still in town and would be hard pushed to get home for 1pm. It meant that Sophie and I had to go and get him, which I was very annoyed about.
We made it to my parents just fifteen minutes late and had a lovely lunch of cold meats, salad, new potatoes and sausage rolls. Sophie drove and sipped a glass or two of the Freixenet 0% alcohol sparkling wine. We sat outside for a while but then the heavens opened and we had to run indoors! It stayed like this for the rest of the afternoon which was a real shame!
Back home we relaxed and did very little, and Mike's friend Abbie arrived. They disappeared off to the pub and the three of us had supper of leftover cheese and biscuits. Delicious!
