Keeping vigil!

I was up and keeping vigil again this morning but all was quiet!

Keith and I took Sophie to the gym and then called into Tesco to get the Sunday papers, and Wilco's before heading back to collect her. I'd bought some black bags in Wilco's as we had a lot of items to send out in the post tomorrow and we didn't have anything to send them in!

We dropped Sophie at home and went straight back out to go and see Mum and Dad and take them their newspaper. We had a coffee with them and a good chat, before heading back home where Sophie was getting ready to go out with her friend Danni, to Beckworth.

Today has been lovely and sunny but we had some heavy downpours in the afternoon and it was a bit like April showers. While Sophie was having lunch at Beckworth, I parcelled up some items ready to post out and we gave Mike a lift into town so he could see Jessie.

Sophie arrived home bearing wine, chocolates and a nut roast! I took the vino and the chocs but passed on the meal! As it was such a lovely day we did three laps of the estate and on the last half lap, Monty came with us. We're wondering whether it's the way we go around that puts him off? It was so nice to have him trotting behind us again!

Before finally being able to sit and relax for a while, we went back out to get Mike and enjoyed a very interesting early evening sky. Sophie was driving so I was able to gaze out at the lovely scenery!

Dinner tonight was roast beef and Keith cooked it!
