Ahhh! Friday!

We awoke to another windy morning and Sophie decided she couldn't face the gym after her busy couple of days. I went to work and had a bit of a stressful morning with some complicated enquiries and lots of admin work.

I was mightily glad to escape at 2pm and went home to watch the last day's racing at Cheltenham. One of my horses came fourth but in the last televised race I went for Hazel Hill, who won! Yippee! We didn't win much as it was the favourite, but it ended the week on a good note for me. Overall, Keith was up so he'd had a good run for his money!

Sophie was home nice and early and the boys went off to the pub while we settled down to watch two
episodes of Masterchef that we'd missed over the last few days. We enjoyed a Sauvignon Blanc from Australia that was surprisingly good and ate pizza and quiche for dinner accompanied by diced fried potatoes. After dinner it was back to Masterchef and that lovely Friday night feeling!
