The end of another week!

I spent the morning catching up with outstanding jobs (such as writing this blog!) and pottering about the house. Sophie went into work at 11am which gave us all a bit of a lie-in this morning, which was lovely.

In the afternoon Keith had an appointment at the hospital for another CT scan. This time he had to swallow a special drink over an hour before he went in for the x-ray which tasted of aniseed, he said. By 5pm he was all done and we were walking out so we called Sophie to see if we could pick her up slightly earlier, rather than go home and pick her up half an hour later.

Back home Keith quickly changed and I dropped him off at the pub for his usual weekly meet-up with his mates. Mike was at a party this evening and would be staying over, thank goodness. It meant that we didn't have to go out at some ungodly hour and pick him up!
