Phew! Today has been warm and sunny but we were still relatively busy at work first thing, although the customers faded away by the afternoon.
I had a meeting with Mikey's Head of Year and form teacher after school and it wasn't a pleasant meeting. He is playing around a fair bit at school and acting the fool which means he's been on report. I can't understand why he's behaving so badly but we discussed several ways of getting him to concentrate more so I can only hope they will work.
Back home, after a short sharp discussion between Mikey and his dad, we all went out to enjoy the sunshine in the garden and things improved. I think deep down he realises he's being silly and that he mustn't live up to his friends' expectations of him to muck about and be the class clown!
