Snow day!

We've had a lovely, very relaxed day and spent all of it at home! Last night, Sophie and I prepared a dish of banana porridge and let it chill in the fridge, so all we had to do this morning was pop it into the oven. It was delicious and this is definitely the way we'll go in the future!

Keith went shopping and bought the ingredients for a spicy red pepper and tomato soup so Sophie had something for her lunch at work tomorrow. We made it this morning, and also prepared all the vegetables for our roast pork dinner this evening.

As it's Sunday, that means one thing - face pack day! We have now discovered the delights of Four In a Bed and Come Dine with Me, which have replaced A Place in the Sun! I have to say they're much funnier!

The weather today has been cold but sunny, and in the late afternoon, it started snowing! It came down and started to settle really quickly which we found very surprising for this time of year! It seems incredible that a couple of weeks ago people were out wearing summer clothes!

After I had a lovely hot bath, Sophie and I played Scrabble again in the conservatory and she had a Mint Julep with her new bourbon and some mint that Keith had bought for her in Tesco. She pronounced it delicious!
