A stressful shift!

Today has been almost a repeat of yesterday as I started work again at 11am. Before I went in, though, I hoovered the house and asked Keith to give the bathroom a good clean. Sophie was working from home and had been to the gym this morning as usual.

At work I did two hours of Sheila's work and then it was back on the phones with Jo. Unfortunately, it was very stressful indeed as the phones rang non-stop and gave us little chance to do anything else in between. As a lot of our customers are finding it difficult to re-instate their membership (having cancelled their direct debits) so we were constantly having to email them with a link where they could resurrect their old memberships again. However, Nicola had a clear out of a cupboard in her office and gave us all three small bottles of wine each - two Prosecco and a white wine, so that made up for the stress a bit!

At 5pm I sped home and picked up Sophie who had an appointment at a beauty salon in town. Their tiny car park was empty which was a bonus and I sat and read until Sophie emerged a little while later. Before going home we called into Boots on Riverside where Sophie bought an armful of products, bless her!
