Celebrations!

It's been yet another gorgeous day today and after work Keith and I went for an amble over the fields. On the way to the village we met Mum and Dad who had returned last night from their Greek holiday and were looking all suntanned and relaxed. They were both coming around for a drink and a catch-up later so we bid them farewell and carried on with our walk.

Back home we just had time for a quick bath and then Mum and Dad arrived. I gave Dad his Father's Day present of a bottle of Maker's Mark Bourbon and a card, which he was delighted with. We had a great chat about their holiday and saw their photos of the stunning Greek scenery. They'd been to the island of Paros and had had a fantastic time. Now, back to reality!

After Mum and Dad had gone home, we had dinner and waited for Sophie's call. She was having an end-of-exam barbecue with some friends and she called to say she wanted picking up at 9pm. It was the most beautiful evening and I only wished we could have stayed at Brixworth Country park and had a little walk!
