So glad it's Friday!

We had an early start this morning and left the house at just after 7am to take ET to the garage. We'd been told we could leave the car in the car park and put the keys through the letterbox but all three of us searched high and low and couldn't find it...

In the end we left ET and Keith took Sophie and me to work again before speeding back to the garage to hand in the keys. My husband was not a happy man and angrily asked where the letter box was, to be told it was in the door of the house next to the garage, something we hadn't been told! Grrr!

Yet again the weather is grey and depressing...so horrible! This really is a gloomy time of year! Work was OK and not too busy, and back home I went out for a quick walk again while we waited for a call from the garage.

Like Wednesday we weren't able to pick the car up until 4.30pm, but with the new tyres and brake pads, it passed the MOT to the tune of £160, not forgetting the £100 for the wheels yesterday! Sophie was not a happy chappy!

I went to pick her up while Keith went home and it was bliss to get back and finally relax after what has been a somewhat trying week! While Keith went to the pub, Sophie and I cooked veggie meatballs and pasta which was lovely. Keith chose a cooked chicken instead and enjoyed it with several slices of crusty bread, one of his favourite meals!
