As usual, I document the best days of the year and several of them were during our holiday to California in May and Mallorca in September, so rather than pick out a day a month, I've changed it slightly for 2019. Here they are:
Tuesday 1 January - a trip to Cambridge and lunch at a lovely pub.
Sunday 13 January - a birthday outing to Stratford-upon-Avon and a lovely meal in the evening.
Friday 5 April - a trip to France for Sophie's birthday!
Saturday 4 May - We explored Haight Ashbury, Golden Gate park and Mrs Doubtfire's house!
Sunday 5 May - A fantastic Bay cruise, a trip on the cable car and cocktails at Top of The Mark. A delicious dinner in Chinatown ended a fabulous day!
Wednesday 8 May - One of the best days of our lives - a beautiful wine visit to the stunning Napa Valley.
Saturday 11 May - 17 Mile Drive, which was absolutely beautiful, and the highlight of the day (holiday?) was a picnic on the Pacific Coast Highway
Saturday 6 July - A very pleasant visit to the Workhouse at Southwell and exploring the town afterwards.
Friday 20 September - a visit to the gorgeous Cathedral in Palma, followed by Pollenca. The start of our holiday!
Sunday 22 September - Market Day in Pollenca and it was fab to re-acquaint ourselves with the beautiful town.
Monday 23 September - Cala San Vicente and an afternoon of sun-bathing.
Friday 13 December - a lovely trip to Oxford to visit the Christmas market.
Let's hope 2020 has some equally fantastic days!
