More of the same...

Today has been dry and sunny so it was great to be able to spend some time painting the wall by the window and seeing what was going on outdoors, especially as we have been stuck in all day!

We managed to get all the walls painted today and although I'd originally only wanted the grey on the wall behind the fireplace we liked it so much that we decided to paint all four walls in the same colour. The grey looked beautiful against the white woodwork of the doors and skirting boards.

All finished. The yellow strip is masking tape used to protect the white coving.

It only took us the morning to paint the walls as Keith used the roller and after painting around the edges he quickly filled in the middle bits. I did all the areas around the window and we were very pleased with the end results.

We took half an hour out to pop to the shop in Moulton to get some beer for Keith as he deserved a bottle after all the hard work. Today has been lovely weather but colder than of late, which is fine by me. I'm fed up with grey skies and rain!
