Today has been a bit more normal and routine and we went shopping with Sophie this morning so she could get some toiletries for her trip. We dropped her off at uni and popped to see Mum as she needed some help with her printer. From her house we drove to Kettering to do our weekly shop and we'd barely been home an hour when it was time to collect Mike from school.
It's been another cold day but the weather is due to change tomorrow when we'll have rain and milder temperatures. It has been lovely to see the sun this week but I knew it wouldn't last!
Sue came around in the evening for a glass of wine and she brought lots of nibbles with her so we feasted on them and a very good Spanish red. We had a good chat about the work going on with her new kitchen and I can only say I admire her for putting up with it in the winter!
