Sophie was back at university today but in a more structured session as she was taking part in an introduction to her course and having a tour of the library. We dropped her off at the same time as yesterday and went off to Jones's where we bought some essentials, then drove to PC World as our internet adapter thingy has stopped working and we wanted to compare prices with Amazon.
Keith was not prepared to pay the prices in PC World so we left and went to Waitrose where I treated him to a cup of tea and a cheese scone for lunch (ish). We had an hour to kill before Sophie was finished but we ended up sitting in the car park reading the newspaper until she was ready to go home.
Thankfully, when we picked her up she was a lot happier than yesterday as she'd met some girls on the business course who she spent some time with. She said the library was huge and I really envied her the opportunities she has at her finger tips. I would so love to be a student!
In the evening both Mike and Keith were out so it was a girls' night in with a yummy dinner, a glass of wine and the Hairy Bikers to entertain us!
