It's been warm today, and it was lovely to go home and sit in the kitchen, catching the breeze from the open window and the stable door. Keith looked hot as well and went to have a bath before going to the pub. Sophie and I opened a bottle of wine and watched 90 Day Fiance. All the couples do is argue with each other!
We had decided to have another simple meal this evening - pate and wholegrain bread with salad. The fish and chip van arrived at about 6.45pm and was on our estate for about ten minutes but they didn't tempt us tonight! Keith returned from the pub and said that there was a 40th birthday party going on for the new landlord of the pub, with everyone dressed in Hawaiian shirts! He'd been invited, along with John, but they both declined. I don't think it would be their sort of thing!
