Unfortunately we had no choice but to go shopping today, so after dropping Mike at Brixworth, Keith, Sophie and I went to Kettering to get the essentials and dinner for the rest of the week. On the way home we called to see Mum and Dad and I gave them a bottle of wine and some chocolates for looking after Monty and the house for us while we were away. We had a good chat with them and then it was home for some lunch and another lazy afternoon.
The weather has been a bit disappointing today with a lot of cloud and much cooler temperatures. We barbecued in the evening and although Sophie and I sat with Keith while he cooked, it certainly wasn't a balmy evening!
We sat and watched Everest after dinner, but half-way through the recording just stopped so we had to download the film all over again! It had just got to the good bit as well!
