Mum and I made another journey down to Kent today to see Nan. Very soon, I'll be able to do the journey blindfolded!
And talking about the journey, I think today's trip was the best ever...it took us just 90 minutes to get home in the evening, which for a Sunday was tremendous! The completion of all the roadworks have certainly speeded things up! I took Mum and Dad's nippy little Mini Cooper so that may have been one of the reasons why we were so fast!
We had an uneventful afternoon, doing odd little jobs for Nan and having a chat (well, a shout) with her. I was glad to get home, though, and have a well-earned drink and dinner!
