I don't know why, but we have been very busy at work all this week and I suppose I really should know why we're so popular, but this is a funny business as we can be hectic one week and quiet the next. Today has been horrible, grey and foggy and we had lots of people in, but last Friday was beautiful and sunny and we were busy then as well!
We have managed to find a new cook, one who I hope will be perfect for the job. She can't start for a month, though, so I have asked one of our previous employees to come back, which she was happy to do. This is working out rather too well!
I was at work with Sophie until 6pm and then it was a cold drive home and a lovely warm bath when I got home to thaw out my toes!
