A quieter day!

Work was undoubtedly not as eventful as yesterday and passed pleasantly enough! I was very much looking forward to having my Wednesday off and the plan was to take Keith to do some shopping and sort him out with new shoes and shorts!

Dinner this evening was a simple affair of pizza and salad and after we'd eaten, Keith and I watched the last episode of Sherwood. This series has been close to Keith's heart in that it was about the miners' strike in 1984. Although Sherwood was set in Nottinghamshire (hence the name!) Keith's father was a northeast miner and remembered the strikes very well. We enjoyed the series and thought the acting was brilliant. They had dredged up every northern actor they could find and it was great!
