Just pottering...

Today has been a repeat of yesterday, except neither Sophie nor I ventured anywhere! We had a very lazy start to the day which was already sunny and pleasantly warm.

Sophie had a list of jobs she wanted to get done today, and she achieved them all. They included washing both cars (mine had been done last week but was dirty again) and putting some items on eBay. She sloshed water over both cars and I finished mine off, giving the inside a good clean and spraying the seats with air freshener.

It was lovely to potter about and enjoy our free time. We had a late breakfast of mushrooms, scrambled eggs, bacon, veggie sausages and toast which kept us going until the evening. Keith went to see Sileby play in the afternoon while I tackled a small pile of ironing, did loads of laundry and got it out onto the line (it smelt lovely!) and Sophie did a yoga session in the living room.

Of course, as it was Saturday, it was Scrabble in the evening and we managed to play two games, winning one each! Dinner this evening was pate and toast with salad and after we'd eaten we watched Bend It Like Beckham, which is 20 years old! It was a great film and we thoroughly enjoyed watching it!
