So far today, the forecast rain hasn't arrived. We made the most of it and spent all morning in the garden, doing lots of tidying up and getting rid of a couple of plants that were no longer very good. We took up a Hebe from the gravel garden and replaced it with a lovely bushy plant that's been sitting in a tub, so hopefully it'll do well in its new spot. The sun continued to shine and we went off to the pub at lunchtime for a couple of drinks.There was a great atnosphere as usual and it was lovely to sit and relax.
When we returned we chatted to Sue who was also making the most of the fine weather. Let's hope it carries on over the weekend but already I can see clouds gathering overhead. For lunch we finished off Keith's delicious home-made tomato soup. We were literally fighting over the last few drops so I think we'll have to put in another request for some more! We had most of it for dinner last night, before our pizza!
