Most of today has been spent sorting things out after the burglary on Saturday night. It's all the inconvenience I hate plus all the costs involved in repairing damage that was so needless. I looked at the CCTV and saw that there were four of them, all wearing hoodies and looking very young. They spent five minutes inside the building but in that time they managed to do a lot of damage.
My dad is in hospital today, having a pin taken out of his knee from when he broke it back in 2009 so Keith came into work and helped our handyman fix one of the lights outside. He also repaired a light that is sensitive to movement - if that had come on on Saturday night we might have been able to have a good look at their faces. The alarm people arrived and managed to get another alarm box for the inside wall but it wouldn't work properly so they held us up at work until late. More inconvenience!
