Half-term begins.

I knew it was going to be busy this week, and it was, but the phones were manic for the first hour, that's all, and then it calmed down a bit, thank goodness. I tried to tackle a massive pile of box office returns that needed to be scanned onto the computer. Stella used to keep them as hard copies but they took up a lot of space so the best thing is to scan them. Unfortunately, our printer was playing up today and causing a lot of problems, so I just organised them into each film and decided to leave scanning them for another day!

At home, I tidied up and we watched the news at 6pm because we have another Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak! That's three Prime Ministers this year, which is unbelievable! Let's just hope now that things settle down and we can get some sort of stability for the country!

After dinner this evening, Sophie and I went upstairs to watch an episode of Stanley Tucci's series on Italy. He was visiting different places in London that had connections to Italy and it was very interesting. Sophie had been to one of the places featured, so that brought back some lovely memories for her!
