Today we had showers of rain first thing which meant we would be busy at work. Luckily Sophie was in to help out and when Keith brought her in, I went over to the bank with him and into Tesco to get dinner. It was a nice chance to escape for an hour and we popped down to see how the new place was faring. As predicted there were cars parked along the side of the road and I wondered how they would cope with their first rainy day.
The rain stopped by the afternoon so after work Keith and I escaped again for a walk over the fields. It was great to get out and see the very subtle chmages in the landscape now that Autumn is almost here. We did the walk in reverse and I really felt I deserved my glass of vodka and tonic when I got home!
