What a difference a week makes! Last Thursday I spent the afternoon in the pub garden having lunch in the sunshine. Today we haven't seen the sun at all and it's been distinctly chilly! Was that our summer?
Today has been quiet - it's matched my mood. Mum and Dad had an appointment at the doctor's this morning so to make it easier for them (parking is a nightmare) I dropped them off and went to the bank. Of course, today it was very quiet in there so I was back at the doctor's within twenty minutes. I managed to squeeze into a space and found them both still waiting. An hour and a half later I was still sitting waiting for them! Not the most pleasant ways of spending my time, I have to say!
