Monday again!

Monday always comes around too quickly! Keith had an appointment at the hospital this morning to see the heart surgeon so I was on bus stop duty and I had an extra one, Grace, who is really sweet. Her mum had had a bad night with her other daughter who was poorly so we collected Grace and took her to the bus stop. There were a few tales of people stuck abroad, including, as I found out later, two teachers at my son's school. It was a pretty widespread story and the volcano erupting couldn't have happened at a worse time, coinciding as it did with the end of the school Easter holidays.

Our Nursery Manager didn't make it either and is stuck out in Goa so I really don't expect her back this week. However, tonight it looks a bit more optimistic as flights are due to operate again out of southern UK airports by tomorrow evening.

It certainly has been an interesting start to the year, nature-wise! What with the prolonged and freezing winter and now the volcano, Nature certainly has shown who is boss!
