Sue came around early this morning with a bottle of wine and some flowers to thank me for looking after her house for the last two weeks. I was surprised and delighted as all we'd done was pick up the post and put the bins out!
Mid-morning found us trekking off to the hospital to visit the DVT clinic about Keith's ankle. We found it with some difficulty and it was really strange as the hospital was deserted! Keith was taken away for blood tests and then he saw a nurse who examined him for about half an hour. He then had to await the results of the blood tests, but thankfully he was given the all clear! We were so relieved!
We just about managed to get Sophie to work in time and then we spent the afternoon and evening doing very little!
