Frantically typing!

I have just two days to get as much done as possible at work, so I knuckled down and did my best. I spent all day dealing with emails and helping out with phone calls whenever it became busy. The day passed in a blur! I had driven myself to work as Keith can't drive, and I sped home at 4pm to make sure he was OK. He doesn't have a dressing on his wound but has four dissolvable stitches. He had waited for me to get home before having a shower, which I thought was sensible.

We played cards while the sausage casserole simmered away in the oven, and I cooked roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, as well as cabbage and mashed parsnips with carrots. Phew! Sophie said the casserole was the best I'd ever cooked, and it was delicious, even if I'd scorched the onions a bit! They added to the slight sweetness of the dish! Keith wouldn't eat the sausages in the casserole, so I had to grill a couple separately for him... talk about high maintenance!

Our viewing pleasure after dinner was the first half of the England v Latvia match, and then Sophie and I went upstairs and watched some more of The White Lotus, which is quickly becoming addictive!
