A foot pamper

My shift passed quickly at work today, and I tried to get as much done as I could before I left at 2 pm. If I were honest, I drove home dreading the chiropodist appointment! She arrived at 2.30pm and was lovely, though, and very friendly and outgoing.

We'd decided to have the treatment in the conservatory and had already made sure we'd cleared it of any dead animals before she arrived! Keith was seen first as he wanted to get back to watch Cheltenham, and she chatted away while she sorted out his feet. I sat in the kitchen reading the newspaper but also chatting away with them both.

It was my turn next and she tidied up my feet beautifully. It's so much nicer when someone else does the treatment! We arranged another appointment for eight weeks, and I'll look forward to it rather than dread it!

I pootled about after Kim had gone and Sophie left work earlier than usual, so she was home by 4.30pm. She was cooking a Mary Berry recipe this evening, Pang Yang chicken and Keith had prepared all the ingredients for her. As ever, the meal was delicious and there was enough left for my lunch tomorrow. I can't believe another week has passed so quickly!
