Feeling a little emotional...

Sophie had another headache this morning, so she didn't go to the gym. I can't wait for her to have her GP appointment next Monday to try and get to the bottom of why she's having so many headaches at the moment. She said this morning that all the money she'd spent on the acupuncture was a waste.

We sat and watched The White Lotus with a coffee, and then it was time to get ready for work. I was hoping that we wouldn't have a repeat of last Tuesday, which was manic! Luckily, although it was busy first thing, it was a lot calmer and I could concentrate on the emails, put another week of films onto the system and write a little more of the moan report. Our office has been busy and noisy again today with not enough desks to go around!

Everyone wished me a happy break before I left, and I felt like I was going for longer! I'm only missing two days of work, but I think Sara is a bit worried about the workload, especially as Sheila is going into hospital for an operation next Tuesday. I gave her a hug before I left, which made both of us cry, so I left the office quickly!

I drove home and did my packing before pootling about. At least I didn't have to make any porridge tonight! Sophie arrived home, armed with cat worming medication as she'd suspected Gomez had worms again. I can only remember Archie having worms once, but this seems to be a regular occurrence with the cats!

We had a pleasant evening, talking about our trip tomorrow and reminiscing about neighbours!
