A busy day!

Being at work yesterday threw me when it came to what day it was, but today grounded me as it was my short shift. I dealt with emails all morning; a lot of them were asking for help with logging on, but I think we're getting there. There are always teething problems with anything new, and one day this will be a distant memory!

My Mum had a nail appointment this afternoon but Natalia had messaged me yesterday to move it back a quarter of an hour. I was so busy at work that I didn't stop for lunch, so had a quick bite to eat when I arrived home and a glance at the newspaper. I then left to collect my Mum. I had been unable to call her again so I had to phone the care home and say I would be fifteen minutes later than planned.

When I arrived, she was nowhere to be seen and it was almost 3pm by the time she'd been rounded up. She wasn't looking very happy and kept talking about one of the carers, but I had fifteen minutes to get back to Northampton, so I concentrated on driving!

Mum chose a vibrant orangey colour today and by 4.30pm I was driving back to Kettering to drop her off. It was then home to speed through the usual evening jobs and finally relax with a drink! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!
