Both Sara and Sheila were out of the office today on a training course, and with Nicola taking a day's leave, the office was quiet. I thought today I'd be able to make a start on the moan report but emails started pinging into the box mid-morning and never let up!
I managed to drop a spoonful of chocolate mousse down my cleavage at lunchtime, which was hilarious! Luckily, our MD, who had been in the office all morning, had just gone, otherwise he would have seen me groping myself as I attempted to wipe the sticky mess away! Not really the image I wanted to portray when I couldn't even feed myself! Sara and Sheila returned in the afternoon looking a bit frazzled by their training course. I think it was one of those days for everyone!
The mild temperatures have definitely fled and it felt much colder this evening so I lit the fire. Keith and I played cards before we had dinner and he thrashed me completely. At times I didn't even have a chance to do anything before he laid his cards down with a flourish! Grrrr!
