Return of the blog

I opened up the blog again this evening only to see suspicious activity almost immediately, which was deeply disappointing. Last week I had a nice chat with an AI bod, and he/she gave me some tips to try and protect the blog, and also see if the suspicious IP address was malicious, which it was.

I also spent wasted hours wrangling with WordPress last week, and tried to download this blog to one there, but I gave up in the end. Blogger, the platform for this blog, have been no help whatsoever. I can't block the IP address as they use a different one each time, and now they've started appearing from different countries, such as the US, Germany and Japan.

Sadly, cyber security is becoming a more serious problem, and it sometimes feels as if we're being attacked on all sides, with unsolicited phone calls, emails, texts and WhatsApp messages. You have to be on your guard constantly.

Today has been fairly uneventful, so not much to report!
