Normally, I would go and see my parents this afternoon, but the home was closed because of a stomach bug outbreak. I went home and pootled about with Keith, and we managed to get some chores done and out of the way.
We learnt on our residents' Facebook page that the hanging witchy skeleton has gone missing... the two children who had bought it with their own pocket money were upset, and the mum was incensed that someone had taken it down, whether to steal it or because they didn't like it. Everyone checked their Ring doorbell cameras, but the culprit hasn't been identified. We were all shocked, to be honest, as we didn't expect that from anybody nearby, and we couldn't imagine someone randomly passing by on the road and seeing it.
Sophie was home earlier than usual, and we sat in the kitchen and chatted. Keith and I played cards before cooking gammon steaks and shoestring fries for supper. After we'd eaten, we watched last night's episode of Grand Designs, and it must have been one of the most boring shows ever screened... Last week's was boring as well! Come on, Kevin! We need drama!
Well, we had our own drama when Sophie couldn't get Gomez in this evening. She called and called him up until 10.30am, but then went to bed as she was tired. At least he's able to go into the conservatory overnight and curl up on the sofa! He causes us no end of worry!
