An attack of the dizzies...

Sara hadn't managed to get cover for Sharon, who was on annual leave today, so I was facing a day of answering the phone. However, when I arrived at work, I learnt that Sue had agreed to work until 2:30 pm, so that was great news! Sheila had to help me with some complicated bookings first thing, and then I cleared all the emails and started working on September's moan report!

Luckily, the phones were quiet this afternoon, but it was still great to get out at 4pm and drive home with Keith. He went to the pub this evening, and Sophie and I settled down with some nibbles, a bottle of Emporda white wine - Cap de Creus - and the film, The Woman in Cabin 10.

Keith came home early as he said he felt dizzy, and I was annoyed that he had driven home if he felt unwell. He ended up missing dinner, and we made him sit and relax for the rest of the evening. We think he had a touch of vertigo, maybe caused by a problem in his inner ear. He has complained of neck pain and a ringing in his ears, so maybe it's his turn to see the GP!

We watched the rest of the film after dinner, and it was a bit silly. I remember starting to read the book, and I gave up, but Keira Knightley was quite good in it, and there was a suitably evil performance from vintage Bond actor, Art Malik.

We finished the evening with an episode of Gone Fishing. It never fails to soothe, and the cats enjoyed the shots of wildlife on the river!
