A pleasant start to the week

Today has been a pleasant day, and I managed to get a lot done during my eight-hour shift. Our MD made a flying visit and was chatty and smiley, which was a bonus! As I tackled all of the emails, I can spend tomorrow catching up on jobs that must be done!

Back home, I did the usual evening chores and prepared a sausage casserole for dinner. This was the meal we should have had last night! Keith wasn't keen, so he enjoyed leftover savoury crumble. I'm not a fan of having two different meals at the same time, so I was glad when dinner was over!

We sat and watched Only Connect and University Challenge after dinner, and I have to say that the UC questions were hard tonight! Normally, Keith and I can answer a handful of them, but tonight we did badly!
