Keith drove today and picked me up at 4pm. I was a little late as I had to write a last-minute email for Nicola, but it was great to head home and look forward to the weekend. Keith really didn't fancy the pub this evening, but went as it was John's birthday yesterday.
Sophie and I opened a bottle of red from Vaison-la-Romaine and settled down to watch Before Sunset, the second film in the trilogy starring Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke. It followed the same format as before, with them spending time exploring Paris before Ethan Hawke caught a flight home. There are no other major roles in the film, and I did wonder whether the main characters do some improvisation as they talk continually. Learning the lines must have been hard work!
