Puppy tales!

Sophie worked from home today, so we enjoyed a coffee while watching most of Race Across The World, which started its new series last night. Because Sophie would be at home all day, I drove Olive to work, which was a treat! I do like driving her car, even though sometimes she's a bit bossy and tells me off if I don't drive in the centre of the lane!

My shift passed pleasantly, and Sue popped in mid-way through the morning with her gorgeous Labrador puppy, Willow. She was a bundle of fun and mischief and dragged things out of the bin to chew!

I dealt with as many emails as I could before leaving at 2pm, and going home to have a cup of tea with Keith and Sophie in the conservatory. It was warm in there, which made me sleepy, so I had to have a little nap... what a treat on a Thursday afternoon!

Sophie went out for dinner this evening with Laura to The Rose and Crown at Yardley Hastings. Keith and I had a simple dinner of sausage and mash and watched the last three episodes of Feud. It was a drama, but to me it had a hint of farce about it, and I'm just glad I didn't live on the street where it was set!

Sophie arrived home at about 10.30pm, so I was glad I'd had a little nap earlier in the day!
