Back to normal!

Within a few minutes of being in the office this morning, I knew that Sheila was in a bad mood. I kept my head down and got on with my work! It's the best way! Sara is off this week, so maybe she's feeling the pressure!

Today has been pleasant, and because I'd caught up with lots of jobs over Easter, I was able to clear all the emails and catch up with my own inbox. I sped home at 4pm and kept thinking that today was Monday. I'm off tomorrow! I was hoping to get out into the back garden tomorrow, but looking at the weather forecast, it's due to rain.

Sophie cooked a delicious meal this evening - chicken in a red pepper sauce, which she had made herself yesterday. She served the chicken with rice, and it was gorgeous, with enough for lunches tomorrow.

Keith went upstairs to watch football while Sophie and I watched a riveting documentary called Con Mum. It was about a British chef who had reconnected with his birth mother after being apart for forty years, but she certainly wasn't the loving mother he was yearning for. It was very interesting!
