A busy shift

I was flitting backwards and forwards between my desk and Sheila's today, dealing with emails, doing the box office returns, sorting out orders that should have been done last week, and finishing the moan report! Hooray! Now, March needs to be done before the end of this month!

It was good that I was going backwards and forwards all the time, as it meant I kept moving and wasn't sitting still for too long. Work wasn't bad today, although the phones were very busy first thing, but Jo was in a terrible mood and was constantly moaning. It didn't help that the weather today has been rainy for the first time in weeks, and people were calling about swimming and visits to our soft play centre. In the end, I think we were all fed up with her, as she was bringing down the mood in the office. I'm just glad Nicola wasn't in to hear her!

I sped home at 4pm and Keith and I watched Beyond Paradise, which was a bit naughty! I don't tend to watch television during the day, although we both enjoy Pointless when it's on - it's a shame they no longer invite an audience in to see the programme, but I have applied for tickets to see Would I Lie To You. Fingers crossed!

Keith made a delicious chilli con carne for dinner, and I was looking forward to the meal. I'm trying to lose some weight at the moment, so I had eaten very little during the day. Even though I was hungry, I resisted second helpings and went to sit in the living room. Thankfully, Sophie put a portion aside for my lunch tomorrow!
