I wasn't sure what to expect this morning when I went to work, but Sara had said it had been a tough few days coping with our new systems. She wanted me to concentrate on the customer service emails today, but I had to sit at Sheila's desk as that was the only way to access the inbox easily.
We had a lot of people coming into the office today, and at times, it was noisy. It felt strange being at another desk, but I took my chair with me! Today was also the first day of the Easter holidays in Northamptonshire, so the phones were busy with people making enquiries. I'm just glad the weather was still beautiful. If it had been cold and rainy, we would have been swamped with calls about swimming!
It's a case of us helping each other at the moment with the new system until we get used to it. I'm sure that this will all be a distant memory one day! I sped home at 4pm and found Sophie already there as she'd been to see the Nurse Practitioner at the surgery who had prescribed antibiotics due to a chest infection. We might give flying a miss for a while!
It was great having Sophie home so early, and Keith and I played cards before dinner. I thrashed him, much to his annoyance!
