Sara sent me a message to say she was feeling rough and was working from home, so I sat in solitude until Stella, one of our managers, came in. I like her a lot, and when Nicola also came into the office, we had a great gossip! A slightly different day from yesterday!
The rest of the day was busy and noisy, and it was great to escape at 4pm. Sophie had driven to Birmingham this afternoon and was hoping she wouldn't be too late home. She really should have stayed overnight, but wanted to come home and see the cats. Keith and I played cards and enjoyed a drink, and we all had a later dinner because Sophie ended up leaving Birmingham at 7pm.
Of course, she had difficulty getting Gomez in, and I think he came in a lot later than normal, the little monkey! It was almost as if he knew!
