Car worries...

I was back at work as usual this morning and worked my way through the emails. I must try and get the moan report finished before I go to France next week, but I'm not sure I'll be successful! Sara was still feeling rough and looked stressed today. My colleague, Sue, had two online courses to complete, and I promised I would help her while Sara took the minutes of a management meeting in the afternoon.

Sophie texted me to say a warning message had flashed up in Olive when she drove from her hotel to the NEC, which worried me a bit. I don't entirely trust electric cars, and when I Googled the fault, it sounded like it was the battery, so that was a worry!

I was all for driving to Birmingham to make sure she got home safe, but Keith and Sophie said it would be fine. However, the thought of Sophie breaking down on the M6 was not a pleasant one! I told her to phone us when she was ready to come home, but when she did, she said the message had disappeared!

I was mightily relieved when she arrived home safe and sound, and told us about her three days at the NEC and the Gala Dinner last night. Keith and I were playing cards, but we abandoned the game to talk to our daughter, who was shattered and looking forward to a long soak in the bath after dinner, and then bed!

Unbelievably, Gomez came in shortly after she arrived home. I know he missed her last night!
