The wind strengthened overnight, and we awoke to a miserable Monday morning. Am I right in thinking this month hasn't been the best, weather-wise? Still, we did want rain... and we've got it!
Our MD came into the office early this morning and sat opposite me for the entire day. Sometimes, he can be friendly and chatty; other times, he is distant and aloof, and today was one of those days (although he did buy me a coffee). I had to answer the phone a fair bit today, and I always get the impression he's listening to our conversations with customers. I left work with the overwhelming impression that I'd done something wrong, but I was unsure of what!
I spent the rest of the evening feeling a little unsettled, but nowhere near as bad as I felt last Monday after work! Sophie was facing a busy week, with her company's conference at the NEC on Wednesday and Thursday, and she's organising a Gala Dinner on Wednesday night. To be honest, I will be glad when this week's over and we're on a countdown to our little break in France!
