Hooray! It's Friday!

It felt a little cooler this morning, and the temperatures weren't as high as yesterday, thank goodness. It's still only May and technically Spring!

I had a busy day at work, and concentrated on the cinema today, putting another week of films onto the system and sorting out the returns from the last month. Jaden and Kathy helped me with emails, and by the time I'd left, they had all been dealt with. We are facing another Bank Holiday weekend, but I'm in on Monday with Kathy, working a short shift from 9am until 2pm.

Back home, I didn't do any exercise on the bike (bad girl!) and instead sat and watched Fake, which has me truly hooked. Sophie arrived home a little frazzled by work, and I gave her the choice of three red wines to drink. We chose a South American Cabernet Sauvignon, which was perfect with tonight's dinner of chilli con carne. The wine was delicious, and we nibbled on some crackers and a dip. Well, it is Friday!

Keith went to the pub, and when he returned, we'd put the finishing touches to the meal he'd prepared earlier. It was hot and spicy! He went upstairs again to watch television, and after a brief bickering session with Sophie about what to watch (we'd finished a French documentary before dinner), I got my way and watched Fake for the rest of the evening! I will be forlorn when I've watched all the episodes!
