Yippee! It's Friday!

Today wasn't as bad as I feared and Sara did help out with answering the phone. There were only three of us in the office, and the afternoon quietened down a bit so I was able to get the second week's swim camps onto the system, which was a huge bonus.

I was mightily relieved when it was 4pm and I whizzed off home. The temperature was about 29c today, so a hot one but it's set to get cooler on Sunday, thank goodness! When Sophie arrived home we cracked open a bottle of Rosé and watched Come Dine With Me. Keith didn't go to the pub this evening so he was an honorary member of the Girls's Wine Night Club and prepared dinner for us. We'd chosen to have Tesco curries but Keith and I were not impressed at all, and eating them made us all so hot! Sophie was glowing and we thought that maybe a hot curry wasn't the best choice of meal! It was registering 82f (about 28c) in the kitchen!

After we'd eaten, we sat in the garden and chatted. Keith wanted to see the bats come out as dusk fell, so he sat out for a little while longer. Both cats had been out in the garden with us, which was unusual! Normally, Gomez is nowhere to be seen!

It was lovely to look forward to a lie-in tomorrow! Hooray!
