So hot!

It's been a scorcher of a day again, and working and getting ready for the holiday hasn't been pleasant. I cleared all the emails at work and did as much as I could before my much shorter shift tomorrow. A lot of our senior management team were at an exhibition in London today, and I did not envy them their train and underground journeys one bit! Phew!

Keith collected me at 2pm and we sped home with the air-conditioning working overtime. The car had been valeted and was full of petrol, ready for tomorrow. I dropped Keith at home and drove over to collect my Mum to take her shopping. We bought everything she needed, including new clothes, and I took her back. Their living room had been rearranged, and it looked a lot bigger, which was fantastic. I said goodbye, promising to keep in touch and headed for the cool of the car.

Back home, Keith and I did some last-minute packing, and I had a cool shower. When Sophie arrived home, we had a trial run loading the car, which was fun in the heat! I'm just hoping we'll get everything in tomorrow!
