Difficult customers

This week is set to be hot, and looking at the temperatures abroad, it's set to be even warmer! Sophie went to the gym this morning, so our normal routine ensued.

I had a busy day at work, managing to clear all the emails and do some cinema admin work. We had some extremely difficult customers to deal with today, and Jo had a man on the phone who just wouldn't give up with his complaint after I had emailed him. Maybe the heat has got to everyone! In the end, Sara had to take over and was on the phone for ages, dealing with him.

It was great to escape at 4pm and head home, but I became embroiled in a traffic jam on the A43, which held me up for a good fifteen minutes. It was all down to two cars that were broken down (or had had an accident, it was difficult to tell). I warned Sophie, but by the time she came through, the cars had been moved.

We sat and played cards before dinner, and I tried to keep the kitchen and living room cool. If these temperatures continue, I'm going to be looking at investing in a couple of air-conditioning units!
